    Probation Violation
Hi I'm on probation for a dui my 2nd. And I was doing really good and was put on non reporting probation. One day I decided to drink and go out and I was arrested for a.I. My probation officer was aware of this and then I knew I got a letter in the mail saying I had to appear in court for the violation in Ohio which where I was put on probation in the first place. My question what will the judge order me if this is my first and only time of violation.

    Hello morris:

There is a lot more that goes into sentencing than what you've presented. So, I'd have no idea what you're facing. I do know this, however, you'll face LESS if go in front of a judge WITH a lawyer.

Yeah would a public defender do good cause my income at this time is very tight. I have to pay child support and my living expenses. I was put on probation in Ohio but since I live in Kentucky I had to get a probation here. I have to meet with my probation in Ohio on the 15 to discuss what happen any chances of not serving any time at all?

A public defender is better than nothing, some are good, may just make sure your sentence is legal.
