My son had a bench warrant from the state of fl, was arrested in Michigan driving with suspended license served for it and now is waiting extradition to fl, he was charged for grand theft larceny 3, it was 2,800.00 he took from the co. he worked for this is the first time he had done this (he said they owed him that money and never got paid ,he thought is was fair) now he is paying for it my question what are the chances that he gets extradite from Michigan to fla for so little amount, also were can I called to see if they are really going to pick him up

Let me see grand thef is a felony and not a "little amount" A little amount would be 100 or 300 dollars. But if they are holding him for the bench warrant, then yes they will take him back

If it was a summary offense they probably might not bother extraditing but grand theft taking from a company no matter how justified he thought it was he will be extradited.
You could try calling the magistrate for the district he is wanted to find out details of just what they plan to do.

He will be taken back, as he should be. If you break the law you should pay regardless of the dollar amount.

I don't know if they're going to take him back or not, but you shouldn't be calling THEM. They're NOT the good guys!! IF they get YOU on the phone, they'll pump YOU for information, and THEY won't GIVE you any.
