So my cat, who is full grown, and a little fat, while pooping or peeing(sometimes) doesn't make it in the litter box. She does go in the litter box but sticks her butt to the very edge and does not always make it in. I know this sounds stupid (and I feel so asking) but I have the biggest litter box for her, I clean it once a day, and its still happening. I'm getting tired of picking up poop off the floor! Any ideas?

Have you tried an enclosed litter box?

That's actually what I have now. I've tried taking off the top and it still seems to happen. I do put bags under the litter because it is easier to clean. Do you think that may be the problem?

I'm not an expert on cats, but I have had plenty growing up. I know that the only thing they really like in their litter box is litter. Try not putting the plastic bag in the box just for one day and see how it goes.

**EDIT** - I guess I should mention that I tried using the plastic bag liner in the litter box too and my cat wouldn't even step foot in there.
