    Security Toolbar 7.1
    I am not an expert in computing but am desperate to get rid of the above which I know has infected my computer. I am not computer literate as they say but just manage to work the functions that I use daily. Can you please hep me to get rid of this unwanted trojan.:)

    You should be able to use Control Panel to Add/Remove Programs this feature. Click on Start and then click on Control Panel.

    I have done what you suggested to no effect. This trojan is very cunning and has developed a way round this. If you care to check Google - Remove Security Toolbar 7.1 you will see that this is a major problem which many spyware/viris protection claim to be able to beat but this is not the case. Norton 360 have not got a clue how to remove this.

    Where did you get the Toolbar?
    Is it listed on the Add/Remove list? You may need to put a check in the Show Updates box on the top of that page.
