    Too many lights
How many lights can you run off one 15 amp breaker in order to be in compliance of code?

Not sure about anyone else, but I would check with the electric company, or ask a local electrician if there is a special code one must go by. Good Luck.

You want to keep the load down to about 80% of the breaker, 15 amps x 120 volts x .80 = 1440 watts. Fourteen 100 watt bulbs, or twenty four 60 watt ones. A few years ago at my church we had trouble with a light switch heating up. I checked, and found 7 chandeliers each with a bunch of little decorative 60 watt bulbs. We replaced them with 40 watt ones, and everything was fine.
