Are there any little known tricks on getting pregnant? Does it happen faster if the man is on the top? Do you have to put a pillow under your pelvis to help the sperm swim upwards?

Bless you no fast fix here I'm afraid it will happen when it happens, helps if you have intercourse while ovulating but all the old wives tales are just that tales.

I don't know about 'happening faster'...

Of course in the missionary position there is lower chance that sperm will leak out upon ejaculation, verus women on top. And the "pillow method" is basically doing the same thing... if after your partner ejaculates and you sit right up or go walking around, of course semen is going to leak out, if afterward you sit with your hips elevated, more semen stays in longer giving the sperm more time to get to the egg.

Goodness knows only the strong survive. So it doesn't matter how you lay, what position you are in, whether you get up after sex. The stronger, healthier sperm will make it to the fallopian tube to fertilize the egg.
