The blower on my furnace keeps turning on and off every few minutes even though the air conditioner is turned off. What would be the cause of this problem?

May be something to do with your fan relay.do you have a digtal termostat it might be the cause.

Is this an older furnace? If so then it might be the fan switch out of adjustment.
