    1993 honda civic
I have a 1993 Honda civic that won't start. I was pulling into my driveway and the car died (and wouldn't start back up), it has an Automatic and the shifter locked in drive. I had to use the shift lock button to put into nuetral to push the car. Now the car cranks but won't start. I have a CEL that doesn't go out, I don't have spark and I don't hear the fuel pump run when the car is in the On position.
If the main relay is bad would I be getting spark? Are there any pictures of how to perform the K-test? Why can't I put the trans into gear?

. Perform tests outlined in Sections A and B below:

Be sure to first test all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter:

Also, be sure to perform the K-Test, as explained in the first link, since your ECM could be bad. If the ECM is bad the CEL will stay on, the main relay won't click, there won't be spark, and the fuel pump won't run. Sounds like classic ECM failure, at this point. A Cardone remanufactured ECM, with a lifetime warranty, is available from O'Reilly Auto Parts for around $275. Honda will want around $1,000 for an ECM with a 1-year warranty.

. The link below should help you with your transmission problem:

Thank you very much I did the K-test and I only got about 0.4V so I got a new ECM and it worked great. Thanks again
