:confused: my friend/lover is driving me crazy. I hope some one can help me here. We have been messing with each other for about 3 years and about a month ago he told me he loved me I have not told him yet but I will about 2 weeks after that he wanted to know if I wanted to go out with his father and I told him no. I also asked him if he was trying to get rid of me and he said no. he told he that he thought that his father would be able to spend more time with me because he can't right know with everything that is going on with him I told him that I was happy with the way things are. I don't know if he is feeling guilty for he is worryed that he thinks I want to leave. But I don't. Help me if you can

What is the difference between now and two weeks, when it comes to telling your boyfriend you love him? You told him you did not want to "go out" with his Father. Did he mean go out as in go to dinner or the theater? Or go out as on a date? I don't see anything wrong in going someplace with the bf's Father as long as it is innocent. Unless you feel there is some other undercurrent.

You told him you were content to wait until he had more time to spend with you and that should settle it. Perhaps he does feel a tad guilty about not being able to be with you as much as he and you would like. But since you do not mind, he should take you at your word. And go forward.
