I removed some fluid from power steering unit. It is so small,only removed maybe 4oz so I wouldn't go below hose in unit. Marked how much was removed in plastic beeker,added Mobil 1 syn ATF. Do you know total amount of fluid is in my unit? 2003 toyota tacoma 4x4 6 cyl. I want to add more.so it will be mostly mobie 1 in there. Thanks John Da :)

I believe I gave you the capacity last week on your other posting. I believe it was slightly less than 1 qt. You'll be glad you're doing this. Other people will wish they did when their pump, rack and valve assembly fails and it sets them back $1,800+.

It looks like I didn't give it to you. I think it's less than 1 quart. Try calling Toyota.

Many people do what you're doing and change the equivalent amount you're sucking out each time they change their engine oil and filter.
