It frightens me to think that someone is attempting to perhaps steal my identity... The ftc is the Federal Trade Commission, part of the government of the USA. They collect fraudulent internet scams and have prosecuted a few people, severely slapping their wrists. I propose bring back public stoning. Each person receiving spam or a virus is entitled to throw one stone for each copy.

I met a guy a couple of years ago who had the same email. I think he believed it and was going to go through with the email instructions. Not sure of the outcome, since he was only a friend of a friend and I never saw him again.
