    Wild kittens.
Last year(if you have read the post) I had 2 wild kittens in my yard, I managed to tame, and find home for the others, again I have wild kittens these ones look about the same age the other 2 and it is around the same time I saw the other ones last year. I don't no if I should trap and tame these ones or get the town to get them, I wouldn't mind taking care of them but, I don't no if were going to keep getting kittens this time every year... my cat ran away about this time and I was wondering if it could be her having the kittens and not wanting to leave home(well not go to far) she always had kittens and they look a lot like her but I've never seen the mom of the kittens... and after about 2 days there fine and the most gental cats I've ever seen! There calm and nice, every wild cat I get turns out to be a real sweetheart

If you turn in the kittens to the town, it's possible they will be euthanized (i.e. drowned in a bucket of water). If you rescue them, you already know what you have ahead of you.

Certainly the mom cat must be around somewhere unless she is a terrible mom. It would be wonderful if you could identify her and trap her and get her spayed.

    Good luck!!

    What is your question?

Cats can have a little more than once a year. If you don't take care of the wild kittens, the mother cat won't stop having them. Understand? What I'm trying to say is, take care of the wild kittens if you can, but don't think for a second that a cat would realize your supplicating it. As to the mother, cats look the same in general. I look at cat pictures and see at least one of my cats' twins. Hope I helped

MY question cottenwood is will she always have kittens this time of year, and if you think I should take them in, and if you have any suggestions.

Unspayed stray and feral female cats often have at least two litters a year, a spring litter and a fall litter. That's why we cat people try to rescue and neuter cats, to cut down on all the unwanted babies.

Im only 13 and don't have the money to spay her, but there is only kittens around fall. I set my trap tonight anyway to see if I can catch her/or the kittens.

There may be vets in the area who work with animal shelters to neuter cats at a very low cost or for free. Call a nearby animal shelter or even a vet to find out. They will have special traps too to catch the cat. I've done this a number of times. Let me know if I can find out any details for you. The kittens can be neutered as young as six weeks.

Em, if you are in Ohio or Northern Kentucky I can help you out. I have a few organizations that I can post. I have had males neutered for as little as 8 dollars and females spayed as long as their not in heat for 18 dollars. I have heard of cats having 3 litters per year. Going into heat in Jan and their last heat in September. The vet told me that normally a cat does not go into heat during winter months.
