I feel like too much of my time is spent in search for this music - but, it's so darn good! Is anyone familiar with the song playing in the final episode of season 4, when she is recalling her college life (specifically her haircut) to Paul Korsakov? It's a female artist and the only lyrics I can truly decipher are: 'and this isn't my decision, because I've got no place to go.. ' Any manner of help would be amazing - thanks all!

Good song, but not exactly the one I was referring to. It's difficult to follow, obviously, because she is speaking over the lyrics and music and such. On the 4th season dvd, the song starts right as she is beginning to describe the reasoning behind her haircut... sad, maybe I'm not meant to know.

There were two possibilities from that scene, there other one was Shawn Colvin - Anywhere you Go.

The only song I know that plays on that episode is "lie in the sound" by `Trespassers William`.. Hope that helps
