    Tenant Issues
I live in Ohio. I did have a year lease, however since that expired the landlord never had me sign a new one. I live in the downstairs of a duplex of an upstairs/downstairs house. About 4 months ago 4 guys moved in to the upstairs. Our parking consist of 2 spots on the side and 2 in the garage. My roommate and I gave the 2 spots in the garage to the guys upstairs and kept the outside spots. Since they have moved in we have had to call the police on them 4 times for loud music, partying all hours of the night, throwing beer cans at our vehicles, harassing us every weekend and our friends, we barely get sleep throughout the night because they pound and jump on the floors above us to spite us and They have other male friends over that have threatened us. They block us from parking in our parking spots and from leaving. Every time we contact the police they show up hours or 2 later but do not do anything but tell us to contact our landlord. We contact the landlord and he just says to keep calling the police. It's so bad that our friends or family are afraid to come over. I've been looking at houses to buy so I can get out but I haven't found anything yet but I do not want to move to another apartment and have to sign a lease then find a house. I just don't know what to do at this point, anyone have any suggestions?

Tough choices. Move or live with the issues. In Ohio you are considered on a month to month tenancy since the lease was not renewed. You can give a 30-day notice at any time.
