Low Hot H2O in recently remodeled upstairs shower
Hello. We recently remodeled our upstairs shower and about 4-5monthes after we had completed it. Our hot water in the shower only does not have very much pressure. We installed a single fawcet control in the middle of the wall of the shower, instead of the double handle style where one controls the hot and the other controls the cold.

We do not seem to have this problem anywhere else. Logistically the hot water tank is right underneath the shower on the first floor.

Is this a easy fix or do we have to tear it all out to get to the pipes behind the wall.

    Thanks

Sound like there is some blockage at the valve where the hot water feeds

The shower... Maybe the water can be shut off and the guts of the valve

Removed and checked for the blockage... Sometimes hardware stores

Have advice or info on home projects and repairs, ask person if they

Have ever done any plumbing -- most older people have

Thanks... but does that mean the valve is BEHIND the wall/fixture... I does seem like it could be the valve since as we try to increase the hot water... the cold water obviously decreases and eventually only a trickle of steaming hot water comes out. Any more suggestions.

If your shower valve is a delta, remove the handle and make sure the temperature setting button is turned as far clockwise as u can adjust it
