13 virgin itching redniss burning in vagina
Hey I am 13, My name is Genny! Um... I'm a virgin and well I have been having redness, itching, and burning in my vaginal area! I am scared to ask my mom and I need to know! Is it serous? Will it go away or do I have to see a doctor!! I Did research on the web and I thinks it's a yeast infection!

It is quite possible that it is a yeast infection or bladder infection. You do need to see a doctor and you have nothing to be ashamed of or nor should you feel the need to hide it from your parents.

Depending on the cause you will probably be put on some kind of medication, or etc...

Get it checked out and go to your doctor and let your parents know what is happening.

Also, it might not be a bad idea to get in the habit of drinking cranberry juice.

How old is your mom? I personally do not think that you have anything to worry about. Have your mother talked to you about cervical cancer at all?

What I meant is that has this situation with your mother made you extra scared. I honestly do not believe you have any worry about getting that. I personally feel it is just a yeast infection or bladder infection which can be easily treated. You need to see a doctor just to get it diagnosed for sure.

Heyy! I totally know how you feel about not wanting to talk to a parent... I was having vaginal discharge (which is normal, clear fluid) and freaked out about it but didn't tell her, and had my period for 2 years before I told her! Lol I was just a very private person.
Either way, it definitely sounds like a yeast infection (do you have a tendency of not wearing underwear... or not showering maybe as often as possible?)
What you COULD do though is talk to an older female cousin, friend, aunt, or friends mother... or just tell your mother you heard about women getting regular gynological checkups and you thinks its time for you.
Many states have privacy protection guidelines, even for minors... so your mom will mind her own buzz ;)

PS. Also if you're at the store sometime pick up something called Monostat, you don't need to be any certain age, and you can administer it yourself. Then if the symptoms don't clear up for a week or so... then you can consider spilling.

(You can be a virgin and have cervical cancer.) I agree with JesusHelper that you may have a bladder or yeast infection. Ask your mom to make a dr. appointment so you can get started on antibiotics and feel better soon.

You probably do not have cervical cancer! Do you shave your area, or have you ever? You might also want to get some Summer's Eve Femine Wash, it is just like body wash and wash your area just like you would normally. Its great even if nothing is wrong. If you work out in athletics or on your own, maybe trying to change your panties, and rinse off after you work out would help, because of the sweat! So good luck and I hope you feel better.
