    Fear of insomnia returning!
    Hello all!

I had THE worst nights sleep I have had in quite some time last night!
I previously suffered from insomnia for months and months but I got over that! (Eventually!)
I guess I'm just asking for any tips to help me sleep?
I don't want to take medication!

I know I have things on my mind at the moment but I do make every effort to talk about them so I am not bottling them up...

The last good nights sleep that I can remember for myself was over a year ago. I can't exactly remember the date, but it was definitely over a year ago. The sleep that I got then was incredible. Felt incredibly rejuvenated and replenished during the day. Haven't felt like that in a long time.

    Want to talk?

I'm sorry to hear you have trouble too Clough!

My 'problems' are a combination of what seem to be little things... money, going into my final year at university, having to work part-time somewhere I despise! I am also away from iAMfromHuntersBar during the week which I find hard (I know he does too)!

Feel free to share anything you want to talk about also!

I think my fear of my insomnia returning is possibly what keeps me awake?

Have you tried herbal teas, exercising etc?

My main problems, I think with going to sleep, are probably money - paying the bills, not going to bed at a reasonable time and the same time each night and preparing for the things that I must face doing the next day. I am entirely self-employed and must be my own boss. Hence, I am in charge of what I must do each day in order to make a living. It can be hard doing that.

Is iAMfromHuntersBar something that is different from the person who posts as such on this site?

I have tried teas in the past. They did seem to help a little.

I know that the fear of something can freak a person out so much that it can keep them from doing the things they need to do to make them right with a schedule and with something like sleep or study.

    Thanks for sharing!

I bet it is tough being your own boss, I would definitely struggle with that!
As I'm sure you know it is just so frustrating being exhausted and your body won't give in and sleep!

I might have to try Horlicks before bedtime tonight!

Sorry, when referring to - iAMfromHuntersBar - I did mean the one who posts on this site! He is my other (better) half!

I am going to go to bed right now and try to get some sleep. I would greatly enjoy continuing this conversation though. Another time, please?

I know how you feel (obviously! Lol!) and our sleep patterns are pitiful as it is!

I think the fear of not sleeping is bad enough in itself! The harder I TRY to sleep, the less likely I am to!

Oh well, you've only got a little while left at uni... you'll might be able to sleep better after you've finished there... next year! He he!

    Don't say that! Lol!

I hope I'll be so tired when I start back at uni, keeping awake will be a problem!

    :)
