    Implantation bleeding?
How long can implantation bleeding last? How can I tell whether this is my really late period or something has gone wrong? I am about 3 weeks late now.

Hi Shygirl07, have you taken any hpt's?? They also say that a blood test is good too and 3 weeks falls around the right time where HCG is noticed... but everyone's body is different also... I had what I believe was implantation bleeding and it started 10 dpo... I was due for AF on Sept 5th and prior to that I experienced brown spotting around 4 days before Af that lasted only 3 days. The morning of AFI had mild cramping but no period... I did notice light pink on the tp when I went potty, but nothing more... sounds like you may be experiencing it... or like other responses may suggest also that it could be delayed by stress or other medical reasons... I know my body and the last AF that I had was Aug. 8th so I am patiently waiting to see my obgyn on Wednesday... took 3 hpt and they were all negative... I believe differenct in my spirit... what kind of symptoms are you getting if any??

Implantation bleeding is not as common as everyone thinks. Not every woman experiences this, and its not even proven that implantation is what causes bleeding in early pregnancy.

Yes, you need to realize, an fertilized egg is microscopic... it is very rare for women to experience implantation bleeding.
