Good day to you all. I am a 43-old female. I have been diagnosed with Mixed Connective tissues diorder seven years ago. I have been through different phases, non was severe, but all annoying-enough. Working in addition to all social obligtions as a wife and mother, and most of the time you keep it to yourself! No one would stand a nagging mum. I have been through the stiff muscles, inflammed joints, some recurrent kidney inflammations. My bloodanalysis always shows iron defficiency.
My problem today, is that I started to feel embarrassed to call my doctor or tell my husband of any new complaint. Started to feel like am seeking attention or finding an excuse to leave work undone. BUT my last blood analysis report included a word that never occurred before: mild thrombocytosis.. in fact I made my research on the internet and did not take my report to the doctor. According to what I read I just increased my intake of liquids, specially water. What is worring me is that for the past few weeks, I wakeup in the morning and well through noon with some difficulty in breathing and unrest in chest. I feel like I want to rub it or hit slightly on it as if unchewed food is blocking the air way. Consequently, I developeda light cough that my colleagues at work noticed, to release the blockage.. sometimes this ends with a burning feeling.
My question is: is this related to MCTD? Orthe new thrombocytosis thing? Or is it something else unrelated to these? And is it worth visiting a doctor or time and diet can solve it ?Thank you.
