    Signing off perental rights
    I am curious as how to go about with this.. I am in the process of a divorce with my husband and he wants to sign off him rights to our 2 yr old son what happens if he does this? And what can I do to help him do it

    There has to be someone willing to adopt the child in his place in order for him to sign over his parental rights, if you are in agreement with him doing so.

    I have been trying to find out basically the same thing for a few months now! What I did today was pick up the phone and call a lawer... in the phone book they are listed by what they do... just pick one and ask! I found out everything I needed to know and did not cost me anything! Laws are different in each state! I would try that!
