    Felony theft
    Hello,
When you plead guilty to 2 felony theft charges is there a mandatory pre sentence investigation before you get sentenced. Do you have to produce your medical records if you do not want to?
    Thanks

I can only attest to the medical records. I'll leave the rest up to the folks who know more about the felony.

Yes, you have to provide medical records if requested. If you do not, the court will subpoena the doctor's office and then they will be required to produce the medical records. NOW, on the other hand, it depends on what kind of medical records you are talking about. Mental Health records are a different animal all together.

I don't know about the state where you are charged, and plead guilty, but in any case if the prosecution feels those records would be relevant, they would subpoena to obtain them.
