No, it's not for sure that you will miss your period, doesn't happen to every woman, but there is always a possibility.
Yup... I agree with J9... every woman is different.
You exercise regimen or weight loss may not effect your cycle at all.
But it may... mine did... when I was in high school I never had regular periods, and frequently missed periods. My doctor told me it was because I had such low body fat. I could even somewhat "control" my periods... if I started to spot, I could go out for a run and do an intensive workout and I would miss my period. I also had an eating disorder in high school, and my OBGYN says they don't know why but even after you have recovered from an eating disorder it can still affect your period long term.
If you find that your diet and exercise is affecting your period, you could speak to your doctor, and they can guide you towards things they can offer to keep you regulated :)
Oh okay thank you :)
Uhm one more question, does missing a period make you gain weight or retiain extra water for that month until your period comes?
Again, sweetie, it is all very individual. I get my period once a year, and I don't gain weight or water the 11 months I don't have one.
What the freak. Wow.
O.O
Haha.
I think my aunt gets it 4 times a year...
I never knew you can have that .
Yep I went 2 years without having a period at all... for awhile I couldn't have a period on my own, I always had to be on BC pills to regulate me and make me have a period. Right now my OBGYN has me on Prometrium, I take it every month for 10 days and it makes me have a period.
But I have never gained weight or retained water or anything when I don't have periods.
Oh, wow.
Can you still have kids though?
Someone said if oyu have a 6 pack you can't have children?
