Can I take birth control when not on my period?
Hello.. I have 2 questions that I need answered right away. My doctor prescribed yaz birth control pills to me. I took my first pill yesterday (thursday) and I was not on my period. Is that OK? Also, after my Sunday pill, should I take the remainder pills from week one that I didn't take (mon-wed) because I started Thursday, or should I throw those away and start week 2?

You have to start the pill after 5 days of starting your period, if you see the boold or if you don't. And go ahead for 21 days, any day if you forget your pill just use it as soon as you remember, but try to don't forget you have to use it every day, in case if you forget to take for example 4/5 days you may see the blood, mean another cycle of being period, other wise if you complite the 21 days, at the day of 21 you have to stop to take pill and wait 2/3 days for your period .and again from the first day of your period count when you reach to day 5 start another 21 days... my advise is never use birth control pill if you are not an organize person.
