    Hospital dept rights
I received a hospital bill and I began making payments of $25.00 monthly, because I am paying two separate hospital billls. The total of one is about $300.00 and the other is about $ 1, 500.00. These are bills that our insurance did not cover.

We want to continue to make payments, however the hospital billing dept. send us a letter that this amount was not sufficient and that we have to call to make arrangements or to make a payment that they agree on or pay bills in full. We have three children in college and at this time this is all we can afford.

What are our rights legally. We have been making payments.

Depends on what you signed when you went into the hospital. You need to get a copy of that and read it.

Can you possible take a loan out to pay them in full that would have payments you can afford?
