Locating Mortgage Company on Property
I have an elderly woman friend who is in prison (she will be getting out in March)- her daughter sent, by mail, her a power of attorney to sign that will give the daughter control of everything - the daughter says she has to have the power of attorney in order to take care of the house because she needs the money from the life insurance policy her dad left her mom to make the payments - The lady is not able to obtain any information from her daughter - the daughter will not visit her mother - or call her to answer any questions. My friend cannot remember the name of the Mortgage Co she makes her house payments too - Her husband died while she was in prison and he took care of everything - Now she needs to find out the name of the mortgage company to write them to see if the house notes are indeed being made but her daughter will not give her the name of the company. Anyway, I have the Tax Assessor Parcel Number and her name and home address - How can I - just as a friend - find out who holds the Deed or who the Mortgage Company is? If I can find out the Mortgage Company's address - she can find out what is going on with her home. Thanks for any information - millyjames
