    Negative pregnancy tests
I have taken 6 tests this month and they all have been coming out negative. I have tried clear blue, first response, and a walgreens brand all with 2 tests each. I am 2 weeks and almost 3 days late. WHY AM I STILL GETTING Negative?? I was told maybe it is because I have a really low level of hcg in my urine. Do I have to have a pregnancy blood test done to tell me whether I am pregnant or not? Also what happens if that come sout negative too is pregnancy still possible? I am not stressing out I'm just confused on this.

At 2 weeks and 3 days it should show up on a HPT if you are pregnant, but it is possible for false negatives. So yes, the only way you would know for sure if you are pregnant is a blood test.

Keep in mind, stress can cause you to be late or miss your period all together.

Ex. My older sister is like clockwork with her period, NEVER is late... and I mean NEVER, not since she first started having periods. The first month she and her partner started trying to get pregnant she was late... all her HPT's were negative. She went to the doctor, got a blood test, and when the results came back as negative she started her period that evening.

You know, that happened to me. It was over a month late before I got a positive test and that was a very faint positive. The reason being I did have low hormone levels, as it was an ectopic pregnancy. My period was like clockwork though... even through stress. Have you ever been late before?

I have 2 children and no hpt ever showed positive it took blood test to conferm... so maybe you hcg levels are really low and aren't registering...
