So I tried to dye my hair yesterday to get rid of the grey. And I left it on for about 5 extra minutes so they would cover over. Now I have a horrific shade of purple instead of med. Aburn brown. Can someone please tell me how to get rid of it??

If I were you I would simply buy another hair dye... maybe a different brand and re-do it.
