    Laundry room smell.
Hello, we are noticing a rotten egg smell consistently in our laundry room (also a full bath) that is on the lowest level of our house. It is the strongest just after a load of laundry. Can you help?

It is likely that you have a minor leak where the used laundry water goes into the drain. It also could be where clean water comes into the washer. Pull the washer away from the wall a bit. Disconnect the cords and hoses. Pull it completely away from the wall. Check for moisture damage. Clean and disinfect the area, using Lysol spray or something similar. Determine where the leak happened. Replace hoses if necessary. Dry out the area, using a fan if necessary. Reinstall the washer. Monitor the situation.
