This movie has been plaguing my mind for years. I watched is several times when I was a kid, mid 80's. I only have a few memories of it. If anyone can help, that would be awesome. :)

What I remember most was there was a boy that lived in an "average house", and he had a teddy-bear/gremlin looking thing that came out of the dryer. I thought the thing was called a heffalump, but I'm not sure. I think that the boy and his "friend" went through the dryer and into another world to have adventures. That is all I remember. :confused:

You are most likely thinking of "The Hugga Bunch". It has a little girl though, not a boy. And she goes to another land through her mirror. There is the scene with the dryer. You can watch the video on YouTube although it's broken into sections.

The Hugga Bunch Movie is definitely amongst my most deadly nemeses.
