    wiring thermostat
    need help wireing thermo. In house

    I had a weathertron(9051) and I am changing it but wires and letters are different between the two. New th. Hunter(44110)
    old one has:

    X2-white wire to the U and then seprate wire from U goes in the wall.
    O-orange wire go's to the wall.
    G-green wire go's to the wall
    Y-yellow wire go's to the wall
    T-Nothing to this one.
    R-red wire go's to the wall
    W-Nothing to this one
    F-Nothing to this one
    B-blue wire goes to the wall.

    The new one has:

    G,Y,W, and RC&RH that has a red wire going to one to the other.

    Please help

    Sounds like you have a heat pump, and the new thermostat won't work with it. Read the sticky at the top of this forum. If you have a heat pump, and the thermostat directions say nothing about them, it isn't going to work.
