I am having trouble with rewriteable CD's. Once I delete everything my computer doesn't recognise there is a disc in the tray. Do I presume it has to be reformatted? If so how do I do this.

Give up throw them away and buy some simple CDR's they are extremely cheap now, alleviating the need for rewritables.
