Recently I just started attending college, and believe me, what a change. I just met this girl about a week ago too, and also believe me, I've met a LOT of girls here. This one is different, I've never felt this way about anyone, ever, not even my ex. Lol. She's on my mind a lot and I'm not really sure why. She's also one of the most beautiful looking girls I've ever seen. I've spoken with her on two separate occasions and we share a lot of interests. However those two occasions were unplanned. I'm thinking about showing up to one of her band practices so I can see her again, and help me decide more about all these emotions I'm getting about her. Think this is a good idea, and any other suggestions? If so, greatly appreciated.

Fortunately for you college allows you lots of openings for conversations. The simple question of what do you plan on majoring in is a wonderful starter. You are able to find out about someone's passions and why they want to study a particular subject. You can talk about classes, adjusting to life at school, being away from home for the first time, how crazy people act in the dorms, etc.

I see no harm in attempting to get to know her better. Freshman year is usually pretty exciting since there are so many new people to get to know and a widely expanded dating pool. I would advise you to take your time and get to know her. Best of luck!
