How do I get the string spool off my featherlite weedeater? The bottom part that taps on the ground may or may not be damaged.:confused:

Turn it counterclockwise, use something like channel locks if you have to. Some heads will have a spot to insert a piece of rod, to lock the head and get it to turn loose.
