    Hi Rosie.

Does the toilet bubble or make any kind of a noise? You say, "after a bath".
Did you mean after you drain the tub? Tom

Yes it seems to start after I have drained the bath but the toilet does not bubble or make a noise

Are you on a slab, crawl space or basement? Where is the smell worse? From the bowl, from the base? Any moisture any place? Is it a sewer line smell or a moldy smell? Regards, Tom

Tom we are on a slab it is hard to work out what has the worse smell but I would say the bowl it is sort of sewer smell we have one wall in the toilet which will have to be treated for rising damp if that is relevant thanks rosie

    Hi Rosie,

Take some toilet paper and rub it around the back of the bowl and the base. If itcomes back with moisture on it the wax seal has ruptured and sewerage's leaking back and is being sucked up by the wall. Let me know. Tom
