    Wiring electrical outlet
I have a 50 amp breaker on a 220v outlet that I plug my RV into, I'd like to install a 110v receptical next to it, getting my power from it. How do I go about this? Thanks

While I am not familiar with RV power wiring, I believe there is some sort of breaker panel or some sort of distribution point, with breakers or fuses. The outlet you want to add should start from that point with it's own breaker or fuse to protect it from short circuit or overload.

I will copy this at Cars and Trucks, as that being the closest forum that may handle RV, perhaps someone there may be more knowledgeable about RV power wiring.

Try contacting the manufacturer or dealer for advice also.

I read your question as being on the part of the house wiring you plug the RV into. You will still need to set a small panel with a 15 or 20 amp single pole breaker. Let me assure you tk is a much more reliable source on getting the details on doing it right than I am. He is patiently walking me through adding a sub panel now.
