What rights does he have as the father of the child?
My boyfriend and I recently had a baby about six months ago. He got another girl pregnant while I was pregnant. He is a wonderful father to our child and wants to be a part of his other child's life as well which I support. The girl who is pregnant is telling him that he can't sign the birth certificate, and the child is going to have her last name and not his. She won't even tell him where she is going to have the baby so he can be there when the child is born. He is so upset about it and I want to help. I want to know what rights he has to the child in the state of Kansas if any and what he can do if anything. What are his rights as a father who is trying to support and be a part of his child's life?
