Ijust replaced fuel filter on my suv. The old one was so clogged I could barely blo through it. I also ran out of gas 2 times the week before I replaced it .now it barely runs and will shut off when I try to drive it, like it out of gas . I do have enuf gas in it . But when its running it will fill the interior with gas fumes. What's seems to be the problem"

Did you disconnect the inertia switch and depressurize the system, before changing the fuel filter? If you did, you may need to reattach the connector or reset the inertia switch. You may also need to change the filter again, if there's the possibility a lot of water and crud was pumped.
