Help me please.
My little 3 month boy seems to really dislike me.
Went mom go's to work and I'm left with him he just won't stop crying. I try everything.
He's fed, changed, clean, I try to play with him. But it just makes it worse. Its just so fustrating
I don't know what to do.
Any advice would be a huge help to me.
Even tiny babies are smart. He doesn't dislike you. He's feeding off your frustration and anxiety. Is there a way to get yourself calmed down so you can enjoy him and enjoy being with him? Play music in the background, soft volume please. Or sing to him (softly). Calmly carry him while you walk around indoors and outdoors. Get one of those slings that hang across your chest and put him in that so he's close to you and you can be hands-free. Put him in one of those wind-up swings but don't scramble his brain with swinging.
He probably cries when his mom is around too, but you may not realize how much. Babies at this age still cry a lot, mostly because they can't communicate in any other way. (My first son cried steadily for the first three months of his life.)
A Web site had a suggestion. Swaddle him -- that is, warm a receiving blanket and wrap him up snugly so he looks like a little cocoon and then hold him. That might help. Or, if you have a clothes dryer, set him on top of it (NOT INSIDE!! ) while it's turned on. The vibration will soothe him. BUT DON'T LEAVE HIM ALONE OR UNWATCHED THERE! My parents used to take me for car rides (vibration of the car is soothing too). My mother has lots of stories about that. They'd invent reasons to go somewhere with this screaming baby--Dairy Queen knew them well. And there's always the pacifier...
He may be beginning to teethe and is crying because of that. Ask the mom for instructions.

It could be teething. Do you burp him after feeds?

They cry a lot at that age,
I know mine used to howl all the time and I used to wonder what I was doing wrong,especially when she sometimes calms down with her Grandma.
But now I know better, there could be even a tiny thing irritating her.
Feeling sleepy will tick them off, being uncomfortable might tick them off,feeling tired will tick them off. And babies that age do not know much else but to cry for anything, how I wish they could talk at that stage, it will help clear all the confusion and there will be much less crying.:p
I can tell you are a first time Mom. Your son doesn't hate you ! Have you taken him to a pediatrician? Maybe he has colic !:eek:
