    Artificial Nails
I am totally confused as to what nail product to use to enhance my nails. I recently saw someone sporting gel nails and they looked very natural. This seems to be an expensive procedure and if not done well can result in problems. What differences are there in nail enhancement procedures and what are the downsides?

I love my pink and white gel nails, but the problem I have is probably not one you will run into. My problem is that I cannot make an appointment and expect the salon to honor it. I make my appointment on off days - no weekends - so I can get in and out. I have found that my salon will take a walk-in 2 minutes before my appt which backs me up 30 or more minutes. I work 2 jobs and don't have time to waste sitting around. I'm looking for a new salon now that understands the purpose of an appointment.

I find the pink and whites are no maintenance - don't have to worry about the polish chipping and they dress up or down. My sister prefers regular acrylics and enjoys picking out a new color each time. They have to be refilled in 3 week intervals - you can stretch it to 4 but they start looking rough.

Once you get them there is a commitment to the upkeep. Here you can get a new p&w set for about $35 plus tip and the refills are between $20 and $25.
