    Webcam and mic
    Hi I've just got a webcam and mic for laptop,now everything was working,I talked to my family and stuff,but now she can't hear me,I can hear her and see her,but she can only see me,can someone help,thanks

    Have you tested to make sure the mic works? As in, trying to record on your computer. If your mic is working, it could be a problem on her side.

    Go to: Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> Entertainment --> Sound Recorder.

    Your webcam also should have come with software to record video. This could also be used to test the sound. Good Luck.

    OK I've checked it and there's no sound on recording my voice,so wots nexts

    This happened to me once. I was forced to change a setting in the sound card menu. I would consult the manual on your sound card. I cannot remember what exactly I had to change, but it was just un-checking some feature. My sound card was an Nvidia.

    Check to make sure the mic is plugged in to the correct port or hasn't become unplugged.
