I Need A Movie Title, I think it was made in the late 90's or 2000's .
Okay, I don't remember much about it, I think it was a movie that my dad was watching but he said he had no idea what I was talking about, so here it goes...

First of all I think it was made in the 90's or later, and it's about a guy, it's set in the future, and he starts to see this guy and he's either a therapist or doctor ( I think doctor) and the guy who came to see the doctor say's he can change the present by dreaming it. And the doctor puts him in a machine and tells him to dream things and makes it so his office is nicer (I think he just wanted a window at first) and there was also something about Lady Godiva, and the girl of his dreams or whatever and then the guy says he doesn't want to go to sleep cause he's afraid he'll deam her away again or something.

Anyway, they go into hiding I think, and that's all I can remember, this has been bugging me for at least 7 years so if anyone could help me that would be great.

It might be The Lathe of Heaven, but I'm not certain. Two versions of this have been produced, one in 1980 with Bruce Davison and Kevin Conway and one in 2002 with James Caan, Lukas Haas, Lisa Bonet, and David Straithairn. Both were based on the science fiction novel by Ursula LeGuin.

A synopsis from imdb.com: "George Orr, a man whose dreams can change waking reality, tries to suppress this unpredictable gift with drugs. Dr. Haber, an assigned psychiatrist, discovers the gift to be real and hypnotically induces Mr. Orr to change reality for the benefit of mankind --- with bizarre and frightening results."

The book was terrific--I had no idea they'd made a movie.
