    Questions about canada.
Does it matter how much my boyfriend makes in order to sponsor me and my son to move to canada?
Does debt matter? A normal amount of debt.. car, home, etc.

Yes it matters what his salary is, to sponsor 2 people he needs to make around 31,000 at least. Normally they just ask about income but they calculate it based on his income before tax minus all social assistance amounts he received in the last year.

Debt is not a part of the questionnaire.

    Thanks for the info.
I am actually asking for my sister, she had read a lot of different things that contridict.
We read last night that his income didn't matter if she was " fiancee, congegal partner, common law" etc. only if he was to sponsor family.
We're just trying to get as much info. As we can without paying for an attorney right now.
A "dependent child" is also confusing as to how he would be able to move with her, he's 10.
    We were looking at canadavisa.com

Canadavisa.com is a lawyers website, you need to be using cic.gc.ca, that is the government's website.

Also most attorney's will charge only a small fee in Canada to review your case and advise how they would proceed. It would be worth doing as you could get a few straight answers without reading through all the paperwork.
