Repair or Replace Basement Shower Stall
    Hi,

I'm wanting to repair/replace the shower stall in the basement because at the bottom it's pretty rusted. I think it's called a freestanding stall. I wanted to avoid replacing the stall, because the base--which really doesn't need to be replaced--measures 31 1/2". The bases that come with these kits are either 30" or 32". I would have to take that old base out which is really still in excellent shape. I wonder if it's possible to just repair the rusty bottom of the shower stall? You may say, "Not a good idea to be patching things," but otherwise removing the base sucks.

    Thanks A Lot!

Nope, just redo it and it will look right. Half way repair jobs end up costing more
