    A truck travels beneath an airplane that is moving 200 km/h at an angle of 42 degree to the ground.

    a) how fast must the truck travel to stay beneath the airplane? Answer in units of km/h.

    b) What is the magnitude of the vertical component of the velocity of the plane? Answer in units of km/h.

    Since this is an old post I'm going to be brief. If you see this and want more detail you can let me know.

    a) The truck's speed has to be: 200*cos(42) = 148.6 km/hr

    b) The vertical comp. of the plane is: 200*sin(42) = 133.8 km/hr
