    Lumps on baby's head
    HI,
I was just wondering about three lumps I found on my babes head. This morning I found one lump on each side of her head in the same spot and on the left side another one closer the ear.. they are about a cm above her hair line.. I don't know if it is from teething because she is teething and a touch of the flu. I am not able to got to the doctor until Thursday so I was just wondering if anyone has a clue what it might be

    Worry mom!!

It is good that you are taking her to the doctor but it is probably nothing to worry about. If she does have the flu chances are the lumps are swollen lymph glands. Swollen lymph glands can cause pain and tenderness during colds, flu, sore throat, strep throat, or ear infections. The doctor may prescribe an antibiotic or they may go away with the illness. Don't worry too much until you can get her in. Here is some pretty good information regarding swollen lymph glands and things to watch for that would need for her to go see the doctor sooner:Children's Hospital of Illinois - Lymph Nodes, Swollen
