My g/f of nearly 8 years has broken my heart she drifted away I still feel the same way as I did the first day I met her I can't cope any more I need your help how can I end this pain what is the easiest way to do this without putting my parents through hell I really want this want to show her how much I love her I tried it last year took 50 ecstacy tablets it didn't work please help me

Oh yes, killing yourself will really show her?? OK no it will not show her anything except she was lucky to get away when she did.

What will really show her, is you move on with your life, and get a new girlfriend who is prettier, and better than her, NOW that will show her she really messed up.

I agree you should consider professional help, even if you have to go to your parents. Listen I know heartbreak a lot of us do. Ask yourself "why do i want to kill myself?" it really only hurts the ones close to you. My father committed suicide about 1 year ago. His problem was that his family didn't want him around anymore because he did drugs and never sought help, then he would lie about it. What he did to me was unfair. He did it for selfish reasons beyond me.
Be strong. Everyone has that power. I'm going to quote something for you that has helped me in the past.
"god has a prupose behing every trouble. no one is immune to pain or insulte from suffering, and no one gets to skate through life problem free. life is a series of problems every time you solve one, another is waiting to take its place. your most profound and intimate experiences of worship will likely be in your darkest days-when your heart is broken, when you feel abandoned, when your out of options, when the pain is great." out of this book I have learned that in order for better things to come you have to accept change, and if you don't, well you only hurt longer. You are meant for a purpose, so don't throw it away. Time will only heal your heart. Believe me I know. Who knows, I have heard of plenty of stories of couples, and high school sweathearts meeting again, and burning an old flame.

A lot of people go through their whole lives without even getting to taste real love like you have. Plus, I'd say you've had a little more than a taste. 8 years! If your girlfriend moved on and doesn't want you back, she probably thought that she should wander off looking for adventure. If that's what suddenly suites her, let her, because if she doesn't love you anymore she's not the same person inside.

You know, there are more girls out there dying for the love that you are good at giving. You need to start a new chapter of your life.
