    Implantation spotting?
I am 22 years old and my husband and I are Trying to conceive. My daughter is only 9 months old but and I came off the pill three moths ago. I ovulated and then 6 DPO I had light pink spotting only in the morning when I wiped and then it was gone, I am 5 days away from my AF and I can't stand the wait! I have all the symptoms of being PG but I don't know if today was too early to take a HPT. Help please!

5 days before your due period is a bit early to take an HPT. Your best chances of getting an accurate result would be to take the HPT about a week after your missed period (if you do miss one).

As for the spotting, there are many reasons you can spot between periods. Implantation bleeding is very rare.

There is some info on implantation bleeding here : https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/pregna...ert-53866.html

Actually, no, implantation bleeding is rare. This thread contains answers to frequently asked questions, and they are answered by our Health Expert. Here you go :

I understand that there are tests that can detect pregnancy early, but the most accurate time to take a test is after a missed period. Taking a test too early can result in a false negative.
