Looking for title of horror book
I am looking for a book I read as a teenager appx. 15 yrs ago. I don't know the name or author of the book but it was a horror novel and I can describe it, please if you have any idea of the exact name author or year it was publised I would be sooo grateful. The story is about couples who were either married or about to be married for some reason or other they end up at an old house where an older man invites them in somehow he separates them the husband wakes up with a noose around his neck and his toes just able to hold him up on a hot plate which is then turned on and of course he dies. The woman wakes up in an attic(I think) and is forced to dress like a little girl. There are a group of women this man has done this to , they are forced to where little girl dresses, have their breasts taped down, hair in pig tails etc.. all in this area they can't get out of. I can't remember the ending exactly but I think the title may have been along the lines of THE BRIMSTONE, THE BRICKSTONE, THE BROWNSTONE, or mabey DADDYS GIRLS? Please help me out.

It's Brimstone, by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child.

Lauren, BRIMSTONE is a continuation in a series by Preston and Child. You should really start with THE CABINET OF CURIOSITIES. This is a great book and will give you the foundation for the character "Pendergast", who is the main protagonist in BRIMSTONE.

Let me know if this answer helps

I am also looking for this book. It is not called Brimstone. It has "Attic" in the title and was written by a woman.
The girl is held captive in an attic with other girls who's boyfriends were all killed and buried in the yard with lye.
The girl escapes but suffers amnesia so is unable to save the others being held captive, including a girl with apendicitis.
    That's all I remember.
