First my pap is always very painful and my doctor said it shouldn't hurt and I've always had it come back normal with nothing wrong. What could be causing it? Second, After my pap this last time there was some bloody discharge, Is that normal or should I call my doctor about it? I'm 26 and have been getting paps every year for 11 years, they have always been painful but this is the first one to make me bleed.

Pap smears are always uncomfortable. I know I hate when the time comes for mine. I think it does sort of hurt when the doctor using the brush. I hate even thinking about it.
As for the bleeding, if it is usually for you and you question it call your doctor and ask. It can't hurt to call. I know that I have had some slight spotting after pap smears before but never thought anything about it.
Just be glad you have a normal result every time. I haven't been able to have a normal result for the last two years. My doctor has done a biopsy and those come back normal (and those do hurt) so I don't know what is going on.
