Hi,

I recently finished up a 10 moth lease and didn't sign the lease extension which said If not signed I would have a month to month lease enforced. I am now ready to move and our new move in date is the 15th. On a month to month lease is it okay for me to give thirty day notice in the middle of the month or is it assumed that the notice has to be given end of month? It's not specifed in the extension, it just says to give thirty days notice.

Notice must include one full rental period. Therefore, a proper 30 day notice needs to be written, sent certified return receipt requested, and needs to be received by the last day of the month.
